Compensation Specialist
Location: Irvine
Schedule: Mon - Fri (8am-5pm)
Pay Rate: $32-$37
Type: Temp to Hire
Responsibilities:
Support the organization through job analysis, market study and job description review.
Assist with Compensation data management, utilization of third party market matching
software.
Participate in survey responses and/or gathering of data for annual survey's.
Support the annual compensation planning process including merit/bonus/promotion process.
Overall Experience:
Understanding of compensation principles, methodologies and market trends.
Knowledgeable on how to market match and grade a position. Experience reading job
descriptions and aligning them to the market.
3+ years of direct compensation experience.
Analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex data and draw actionable insights.
Skills:
Strong attention to details.
Excel and use of Compensation formulas.
Compensation background with experience matching jobs to market data and analyzing new
positions for market and org alignment.
Ability to maintain confidentiality.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
