Pride Health is hiring a Mammography Technologist to support our client's hospital facility in West Hollywood, CA. This is a 13-weeks role, with possible extension.

Summary : Performs basic and intermediate screening and diagnostic mammography examinations under the direction of the Radiologist.

Duties:

• Performs breast imaging as well as ultrasound and stereotactic-guided biopsy procedures.

• Assists in the technical orientation of cross-trained Radiologic Technologists and instructs them in complex or difficult procedures.

• Operate and maintain mammography equipment according to manufacturer specifications and facility protocols.

• Prepare patients for procedures by explaining the process and addressing concerns.

• Ensure patient comfort and maintain privacy throughout the examination.

• Position patients properly to capture accurate images.

• Perform routine quality control checks on imaging equipment.

• Ensure compliance with state, federal, and organizational safety and imaging regulations (e.g., MQSA, ACR guidelines).

• Maintain accurate records and documentation for quality assurance purposes.

• Work closely with radiologists to ensure images meet diagnostic needs.

Minimum Qualifications:

• Graduate of an accredited school of Radiology Technology or other accepted and approved equivalent required

• Registered by The American Registry of Radiologic Technologists in Radiography and Mammography required

• Current state licensure required

• BLS required

Shift Time : Mon – Fri with WEEKEND ROTATIONS

Shift will be 0730a-1600pm, ***hours may vary depending on department need***

Weekly Gross : $3,138.80 weekly gross
