Pride Health is hiring a Mammography Technologist to support our client's hospital facility in West Allis, WI . This is a 13-weeks role, with possible extension.
Summary : Performs basic and intermediate screening and diagnostic mammography examinations under the direction of the Radiologist.
Duties:
- Performs breast imaging as well as ultrasound and stereotactic-guided biopsy procedures.
- Assists in the technical orientation of cross-trained Radiologic Technologists and instructs them in complex or difficult procedures.
- Operate and maintain mammography equipment according to manufacturer specifications and facility protocols.
- Prepare patients for procedures by explaining the process and addressing concerns.
- Ensure patient comfort and maintain privacy throughout the examination.
- Position patients properly to capture accurate images.
- Perform routine quality control checks on imaging equipment.
- Ensure compliance with state, federal, and organizational safety and imaging regulations (e.g., MQSA, ACR guidelines).
- Maintain accurate records and documentation for quality assurance purposes.
- Work closely with radiologists to ensure images meet diagnostic needs.
Minimum Qualifications:
- Radiographer license issue by the state of Wisconsin
- Registered Technologist(RT) issue by ARRT, and
- BLS for Healthcare Provider certification issued by the American Heart Associations.

Weekly Gross : $2,560.00 weekly
