Job Description

We are seeking a detail-oriented Human Resource Coordinator to join the operations team for one of our premier construction related clients. You will be primarily responsible for creating and maintaining an exceptional employee onboarding experience. This role will ensure new hires have a smooth transition into our organization while supporting general HR and other administrative functions.Primary Responsibilities:Onboarding & New Hire ProcessingImplement comprehensive onboarding programs for all new employeeCoordinate new hire orientation sessions and welcome activities including safety trainingPrepare and process new hire documentation and paperworkSet up employee files and maintain HRIS recordsCoordinate with IT, Facilities, and department managers to ensure workspace readinessTrack onboarding metrics and gather feedback to continuously improve the processEnsure compliance with all employment laws and regulationProcess all employee terminationGeneral Administrative Support:Weekly payroll processingMaintain employee records and HR documentationSupport benefits administration and enrollmentResolve employee questions regarding HR policies and proceduresFirst stop for various IT troubleshooting (email, phones, etc.)Coordinate and facilitate lodging accommodations for crewsOther duties as they applyRequired Qualifications:Bachelor's degree in human resources, business, or related field a plus3+ years of HR experience, with specific focus on onboardingStrong knowledge of HR practices and employment lawBilingual English/Spanish requiredExcellent organizational and project management skillsSuperior interpersonal and communication abilitiesProficiency in HRIS and MS Office applications a plusDetail-oriented with strong follow-throughAbility to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive informationAbility to function well and prioritize tasks, meet deadlines, and work effectively in a fast-paced environmentStrong organizational and time management skills.Positive and professional attitude and the ability to work under pressure.Preferred Qualifications:PHR certificationPrior EOS (Entrepreneurial Operating System) experience a plusHRIS and Payroll systems upgrades and implementations a plus.Knowledge of best practices in employee experience designStrong process improvement mindsetExcellent time management and prioritizationHigh degree of professionalism and discretionAbility to work both independently and collaborativelyStrong problem-solving abilitiesCultural awareness and sensitivity, adaptability and flexibilityPhysical Requirements:Prolonged periods sitting at a desk and working on a computerMust be able to lift up to 15 pounds at timesMust be able to access and navigate all areas of the officeWork Environment:Professional office environmentMay require occasional early morning or evening hours
