Job description: Falcon Red Operator

Shift: 1st, 2nd and 3rd
Must have skills: Sorting, clerical, Mail handling experience
Summary: Under the direction of a Team leader or Work Coordinator, capture an image of the front and back of all checks and the payment posting documents (vouchers) for all transactions processed.
Essential functions:
Operate the image capture (Falcon Red) equipment.
Login to the Falcon PC and Red module and select the correct processing options and choose the correct processing date.
Retrieve the sorted mail tray from the work delivered from Mail In.
Jog Work and then load envelopes by tax type on the cutter conveyor.
Start envelope cutter and then extract and inspect contents of each envelope.
Load the checks and vouchers on conveyor and monitor the image scans.
Ensure a single audit trail line is imprinted on the back of the batch header ticket and each check and voucher.
Empty the stacker trays and place the documents and checks back into the same tray and complete the Deposit Cut Audit Log.
Place the completed batch tray on the Cutoff Pending rack.
Record extraction process errors on Quality Tracking Sheets as process errors are identified during the transport process.
Maintains knowledge of production processes in assigned area.
Proven commitment to timely and high quality production output.
Establish and maintain cooperative relationships with assigned team leader, work associates.
Understand and carry out oral and written directions.
Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent.
Zero to one year of experience in item processing activities.
Preferred Skills/Experience:
Demonstrated clerical, reading, writing, and mathematical skills.
Ability to collect and organize information.
Ability to identify and resolve exceptions and to interpret data.
Good customer relations skills.
Prior GLBX Extraction and Batch Prep experience.
Physical demands:
Ability to continuously stand or walk.
Ability to bend, squat and lift up to 15 pounds frequently.
Ability to operate a pen, marker, stapler, scissors, rubber stamps, and tape dispenser.
Work environment:
Work will be conducted in a production environment.
Daily job duties can change based on peak and non-peak processing demands.
