Position Summary

The Vice President of Construction - Healthcare will be a key member of the executive team, responsible for managing all aspects of the company’s healthcare construction projects. This role involves strategic leadership, operational oversight, and ensuring project delivery excellence. The ideal candidate will have deep expertise in healthcare construction, a proven track record of managing complex projects, and exceptional leadership skills.

Key Responsibilities

• Strategic Leadership : Develop and implement strategies to achieve company objectives in healthcare construction, ensuring alignment with overall business goals.
• Project Oversight : Oversee planning, budgeting, scheduling, and execution of all healthcare construction projects to ensure they are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.
• Team Management : Lead and mentor a team of construction managers, project managers, and site supervisors to foster collaboration and professional development.
• Client Relations : Build and maintain strong relationships with healthcare clients, ensuring their needs are met and expectations are exceeded.
• Compliance and Safety : Ensure all projects comply with relevant healthcare construction codes, safety regulations, and industry standards.
• Risk Management : Identify potential risks and develop mitigation strategies to minimize project disruptions.
• Budget Management : Manage project budgets and financial performance, ensuring profitability and cost-efficiency.
• Innovation : Drive continuous improvement by implementing innovative construction methods and technology to enhance efficiency and sustainability.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, Architecture, or a related field (Master’s degree preferred).
• 10+ years of experience in construction leadership roles, with a focus on healthcare projects.
• In-depth knowledge of healthcare facility requirements, building codes, and regulations.
• Proven track record of successfully managing large-scale, multi-million-dollar healthcare construction projects.
• Exceptional leadership, communication, and decision-making skills.
• Strong financial acumen and experience managing budgets and P&L.
• Proficiency in construction management software and tools.
• Ability to build strong client relationships and maintain a customer-focused approach.
