Job Summary

The Associate Scientist I will conduct lab experiments, document results, and perform GMP/GLP activities. Responsibilities include investigating reagent nonconformances, improving manufacturing processes, and presenting findings. The role requires problem-solving, attention to detail, and teamwork in a fast-paced environment.

Job Responsibilities

• Conduct lab experiments and document results.
• Perform GMP/GLP activities and ensure compliance.
• Investigate reagent nonconformances and customer complaints.
• Assist in improving reagent manufacturing processes.
• Design experiments, analyze data, and present findings.
• Follow GMP, ISO, and FDA regulations.

Job Qualifications

• Education: Bachelor’s in Molecular Biology, Biochemistry, or related field.
• Experience: 0-2 years in industry.
• Skills:
• Quick learner with strong attention to detail.
• Time management and basic data analysis.
• Ability to follow instructions and work in a team.
• Preferred: Knowledge of GMP, ISO, and FDA regulations. Familiarity with process and test method validations.

Terms

• 12 month contract
• On-site in Abbott Park, IL
• Shift times: 7 AM - 3 PM, 10 AM - 6 PM, 2 PM - 10 PM
• 1-2 Saturday shifts from 8 AM - 3 PM per month
• Must be able to work on a W2
