Responsibilities

• Plan, organize, and oversee daily manufacturing operations to ensure production schedules are met.
• Monitor and optimize workflows, equipment performance, and labor allocation.
• Ensure all products meet company quality standards and food safety regulations.
• Work closely with the Quality team to address and resolve quality issues promptly.
• Drive adherence to HACCP, GMPs, and SQF/FDA guidelines.
• Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) and implement strategies to achieve targets.
• Oversee inventory management to ensure optimal stock levels for raw materials and finished goods.
• Lead, mentor, and develop a team of floor supervisors and production staff.
• Foster a culture of safety, accountability, and continuous improvement.
• Conduct regular performance reviews and training sessions.
• Promote and enforce a strong safety culture, ensuring compliance with OSHA regulations.
• Oversee sanitation and equipment maintenance to maintain a safe and clean work environment.
• Identify and implement process improvements to enhance productivity and reduce waste.
• Utilize lean manufacturing principles and Six Sigma methodologies to drive operational excellence.

Qualifications

• 5-10 years of operations management experience in food manufacturing.
• Strong knowledge of HACCP, GMPs, and food safety regulations, SQF preferred.
• Proven ability to lead teams in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
• Exceptional problem-solving skills and a data-driven mindset.
• Proficiency in ERP systems and Microsoft Office Suite.
• Certification in Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, or equivalent is a plus.
