We are seeking a strategic and detail-oriented Demand Planning Project Portfolio Manager to oversee capacity and resource planning for IT projects. As the Subject Matter Expert (SME) for capacity planning, you will collaborate with IT leadership to forecast resource needs, drive capacity assessments, and deliver actionable insights to optimize project delivery. This is a critical role for someone with a strong background in Strategic Portfolio Management (SPM) within ServiceNow.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead capacity and resource planning initiatives for IT projects, acting as the SME for capacity management.

• Forecast resource needs and ensure IT leaders complete capacity assessments during project approval.

• Develop and deliver detailed reports and actionable insights to support strategic decision-making.

• Collaborate with IT leadership to align resource allocation with organizational priorities.

• Leverage Strategic Portfolio Management (SPM) within ServiceNow to optimize portfolio management.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Project Management, Business Administration, or Information Systems (preferred).

• At least 3 years of experience in portfolio and/or business technology management.

• 2 years of experience using data visualization tools (e.g., Excel, MSBI).

• Familiarity with project management frameworks, including Waterfall, SAFe, and Agile principles.

• Proven leadership experience with strong skills in collaboration and stakeholder engagement.

• Certifications in SAFe or Lean Portfolio Management (preferred).

• Experience with roadmaps, portfolio financial benefits, and capacity planning (preferred).

• Expertise with ServiceNow Strategic Portfolio Management (SPM) is highly desirable.

Duration: 6-Month Contract-to-Hire

Location: Detroit, MI (Hybrid preferred; remote considered for the right candidate)
