The Director, IT – Supply Chain & Logistics Systems will lead the strategic alignment of technology and processes within Supply Chain, Order-to-Cash, and Logistics functions to drive operational efficiency, automation, and enhanced business outcomes. Reporting to the Sr. Director of Digital Business Transformation, this role acts as a critical bridge between business needs and IT expertise.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide thought leadership on best practices and emerging technologies for Supply Chain, Order-to-Cash, and Logistics functions.
- Collaborate with functional leaders and teams to enhance daily operations through talent development, process optimization, and technology deployment.
- Execute high-priority business initiatives, including touchless P2P processes, supplier diversity, maverick spend control, contract lifecycle management, and enterprise risk management.
- Lead software implementation projects from solution design through hypercare, utilizing internal resources and external system integrators as needed.
- Serve as the Supply Chain & Logistics workstream lead for SAP S/4 migration or play a pivotal role in overall program leadership, focusing on change and project management.
- Partner with the IT Center of Excellence (COE) to integrate data and analytics into business operations, ensuring alignment with data architecture and analytics best practices.
- Collaborate with the Cybersecurity team to mitigate risks in supplier partnerships and software deployments.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in a related field or equivalent experience.
- 8+ years of leadership experience in deploying and supporting business software solutions for Supply Chain, Order-to-Cash, and Logistics functions, or equivalent experience in global process owner roles leading system implementations.
- Proven track record in leading large-scale transformation and change management initiatives within Supply Chain and Logistics functions.
- Hands-on experience as a functional design lead for multiple SAP ECC implementations; SAP S/4 experience preferred.
- Familiarity with SaaS and on-premise solutions such as Logility (demand/supply forecasting), Blue Yonder TMS, Fourkites Yard Management, and SAP EWM.
- 3+ years of experience managing and developing teams.
- Proficiency in MS Office, particularly Excel.
- Industry experience in CPG or manufacturing is highly desirable.
