A successful candidate will have an opportunity to work on all aspects of building structural design on a variety of project types including commercial, institutional, multi-family residential and light industrial. Applicants should have a BSCE or BSAE degree with an emphasis on structural building design, successfully passed the PE or SE exam, 6-10 years of on-the-job experience in the structural design industry (with an emphasis on building structures), a familiarity with building codes and materials standards associated with structural design.

Self-motivated applicants with strong communications skills, an interest in the building design profession and Revit modeling are encouraged to apply.

Roles and responsibilities include:

· Responsible for all aspects of structural engineering design for assigned projects under the direction/support of a firm Principal.

· Revit (BIM) modeling of structural design.

· Interface Revit (BIM) model with engineering software (Tekla, Structural Designer).

· Collaborate and coordinate with other disciplines’ design and modeling changes.

· Follow company standards for BIM content and development procedures.

· Interact with clients on design coordination throughout all phases of the design process.

· Interact with clients and contractors throughout the construction period.
