The Role

• Lead a team of skilled AI/ML/MLOps Engineers to deliver innovative solutions and solve complex problems in the financial services sector.
• Drive the strategic vision for the firm’s AI/ML frameworks and GPU-powered platforms while staying hands-on with technical execution.
• Define the strategic direction for AI/ML frameworks and GPU-powered platforms.
• Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to implement best-in-class tools and technologies.
• Apply MLOps best practices to create seamless, efficient deployment pipelines.
• Build and maintain containerized runtime environments for AI/ML workloads.

Skills and Experience

• Expert-level proficiency in Python programming and machine learning frameworks like TensorFlow and PyTorch.
• In-depth experience with GPUs and related technologies, including CUDA.
• Hands-on experience with containerization, cloud platforms, and CI/CD pipelines.
• Direct people management experience of modest-sized teams
• Ability to gain buy-in from stakeholders across the business
• Fluent in machine learning operations, runtime, orchestration and workflow optimization
• Fluent in maintaining containerized runtime environments
• Experience building CI/CD pipelines
• Demonstrated ability to balance strategic leadership with hands-on technical execution.
• BS or MS degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering or similar

THE BENEFITS

A competitive base salary of $240,000-260,000 + bonus + equity
