Role: Senior UI/UX Designer with Insurance Domain Experience

Job Description:
- Seeking a talented UX Strategist to guide its evolution. This role is a key contributor to shaping user-centered, visually engaging, and goal-oriented web experiences.
- As the UX Strategist, you will serve as the UX steward of our corporate website, reporting directly to the Director of Web Operations and Strategy.
- You will collaborate closely with the Web Content Strategist and cross-functional teams to create seamless, engaging, and impactful user experiences.
- Your mission is to take our website to the next level by crafting intuitive, user-friendly designs, developing new pages and microsites for campaigns and business initiatives, and ensuring alignment with our UX vision.
Key Responsibilities:
- Act as the UX steward for the corporate website, championing user-first design principles and ensuring all web experiences align with the brand and UX vision.
- Maintain and evolve the website's UX and web style guide, ensuring consistency across all digital touchpoints.
- Advocate for accessibility, usability, and best practices in all website projects.
Design & Style Guide Development:
- Use Figma to design user-friendly and visually engaging web layouts, prototypes, and workflows.
- Create and maintain a comprehensive web and UX style guide to standardize design components, templates, and interactions.
- Collaborate with the development team to ensure new components align with the established UX vision.
Web Experience Strategy:
- Partner with the Web Content Strategist to create new pages and microsites that support marketing campaigns, business initiatives, and audience engagement.
- Lead UX strategy for web projects, including information architecture, navigation, and user flow optimization.
- Oversee the design and development of landing pages, ensuring they meet performance, accessibility, and conversion goals.
AEM Oversight & Collaboration:
- Oversee content authoring in Adobe Experience Manager (AEM), ensuring all components and page builds align with the UX strategy.
- Partner with developers, content authors, and designers to troubleshoot and optimize website performance.
- Ensure UX standards are upheld in AEM component libraries and workflows.
Cross-Functional Collaboration:
- Work closely with stakeholders across marketing, product, and IT teams to align website projects with broader business goals.
- Present UX recommendations and design concepts to stakeholders, gathering feedback and incorporating it into the final vision.
- Collaborate with the Web Content Strategist to ensure cohesive and engaging content presentation.
Optimization & Innovation:
- Conduct usability testing and A/B testing to evaluate web performance and identify areas for improvement.
- Analyze web traffic and user behavior using analytics tools to inform UX decisions.
- Stay updated on UX trends, tools, and technologies to bring innovative ideas to the website.
Qualifications:
- 5+ years of experience in UX strategy, web design, or a related role.-REQUIRED
- Bachelor’s Degree in Design Marketing or related field-REQUIRED
- Expertise with design tools like Figma and Adobe Creative Suite, minimum 5 years-REQUIRED
- Hands-on experience with Adobe Experience Manager (AEM) or similar content management systems. Preferred.
- Strong understanding of UX principles, responsive design, accessibility standards (WCAG), and best practices. REQUIRED.
- Proven ability to create and maintain design systems or style guides. REQUIRED.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to articulate design concepts to technical and non-technical audiences. Excellent verbal and written skills-REQUIRED
Preferred Skills:
- Experience with HTML, CSS, and JavaScript is a plus.
- Familiarity with analytics tools like Google Analytics, Adobe Analytics, Adobe Target, Hotjar, or similar. Preferred.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines. REQUIRED.
