We are in search of a Controller to join our team operating within the finance and accounting industry. Situated in Overland Park, Kansas, the Controller will be tasked with overseeing full cycle accounting processes, account reconciliation, financial reporting, and utilizing Microsoft Office Suites.

Responsibilities:

• Oversee the full cycle accounting operations ensuring accuracy and efficiency

• Conduct regular account reconciliation to ensure correct balances and financial integrity

• Spearhead the month-end close process, ensuring timely and accurate reporting

• Develop and deliver comprehensive financial reports for management review

• Utilize Microsoft Office Suites for data entry, analysis, and presentation

• Maintain a thorough understanding of the financial reporting and general ledger structure

• Collaborate with the other finance department members to support overall department goals and objectives

• Monitor and analyze department work to develop more efficient procedures and use of resources while maintaining a high level of accuracy.

• Must possess a minimum of 5 years of experience in a Controller role or similar capacity

• Proficient in Full Cycle Accounting

• Demonstrated experience in Account Reconciliation

• Skilled in Month End Close procedures

• Familiarity with Financial Reporting is essential

• Proficiency in using Microsoft Office Suites, particularly Excel and Word
