Robert Half is seeking a highly motivated and talented Attorney to join a growing team in San Mateo, California. The ideal candidate will have a strong academic background, excellent legal research and writing skills, and a passion for advocating for clients in family law matters.

Responsibilities:

• Conduct legal research and draft legal documents, including pleadings, motions, discovery requests, and settlement agreements.
• Assist with all phases of family law litigation, including case management, client meetings, depositions, and court appearances.
• Conduct client interviews, gather relevant information, and prepare case summaries.
• Manage discovery requests and responses, including document production and interrogatories.
• Communicate effectively with clients, opposing counsel, and the court.
• Maintain case files and adhere to all applicable deadlines.

Qualifications:

• Juris Doctor degree from an accredited law school.
• Active member in good standing with the California State Bar.
• 2+ years of experience in family law preferred, but entry-level candidates with strong academic backgrounds will also be considered.
• Excellent written and verbal communication, research, and analytical skills.
• Strong organizational and time-management skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Proficiency in legal research databases (e.g., Westlaw, LexisNexis).
• Experience with case management software a plus.
