ABOUT ROCKET MONEY

We're looking for an eager and data driven Legal Project Manager to strategize and improve our existing workflows.
ABOUT THE ROLE
  • Partner with the Growth team to review creative ad assets before production and launch, ensuring compliance with active procedures, legal and brand requirements.
  • Optimize and maintain internal processes, tools, and workflows to enhance legal and cross-functional efficiency, ensuring seamless progress for requests and projects from submission to resolution.
  • Manage legal team initiatives, including the review process for creative, product, and marketing assets.
  • Develop, update, and maintain process and procedure documentation.
  • Provide guidance and training to assist in the culture of compliance.
  • Utilize templates to draft standard agreements such as Non-Disclosure Agreements, Master Service Agreements, and Statements of Work.
  • Collaborate closely with the Senior Legal Project Manager and a team of attorneys to provide insights into project workflows and processes.
  • Coordinate across teams (marketing, engineering, product, support, and operations) to ensure projects align with business objectives.
  • Assist with legal research on various projects related to fintech, data and the credit card space.
  • Respond to business inquiries in a collaborative and timely way by sharing the regulatory requirements along with identified risks to the company.
  • Maintain and update contracts/vendor documentation, collaborating with procurement teams, business owners, and attorneys to keep contract negotiations on track.
  • Assist in the development and delivery of compliance training
  • Partner with internal teams to craft innovative ideas that best support our users and align with operational goals.
ABOUT YOU
  • You have an interest in personal finance and a desire to see others succeed in managing their money and improving their financial lives.
  • You have 3+ years of experience working within a legal, compliance or marketing team supporting the business, *e.g.* paralegal, coordination, project management experience.
  • You are comfortable interpreting and communicating complex legal and compliance concepts effectively within legal and across other teams.
  • You have experience contributing to projects that leverage technology to provide operational efficiencies to mission-driven products.
  • You are product minded - constantly thinking about the bigger picture and how it impacts everything else.
  • You have experience working on and managing projects from start to finish while achieving specified goals and deadlines.
  • You're proactive in identifying possible issues and proposing potential resolutions. - You're willing to jump in and help wherever needed, always eager to learn and improve.
  • You know how to achieve results tactfully in a cross-functional environment.
  • You have excellent documentation skills and strong attention to detail.
Additional Positive Skills
  • Experience with Airtable, contract management, and compliance tools is a plus!

Additional information: Salary range of $70,000 - $90,000. Base pay offered may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skill, and experience.
