The ideal candidate will handle diverse litigation responsibilities, including research, depositions, discovery, and trial preparation, while collaborating with senior attorneys and engaging directly with clients. Salary Range: $175,000 - $195,000 / year DOE
Attorney Responsibilities: - Manage and maintain a full caseload, focusing on warranty litigation and insurance defense
- Conduct research, draft pleadings, and prepare legal documents
- Take depositions, attend hearings, and represent clients in court
- Collaborate with senior attorneys, mentors, paralegals, and legal secretaries
- Participate in trial preparation and courtroom proceedings, gaining hands-on trial experience
- Engage in client meetings to provide exceptional legal counsel and support
- Contribute to marketing efforts to build and maintain a book of business
Attorney Requirements: - At least 4 years of litigation experience, with a focus on warranty lemon law or insurance defense
- California Bar admission required
- Strong legal research, writing, and courtroom skills
- Ability to manage high caseloads effectively in a fast-paced environment
- Experience with systems such as Westlaw, iManage, and Relativity preferred
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate with team members and engage with clients
