Candidate Review & Selection
•Initial 1st round interview - hiring manager (1 hour)
•2nd round interview - 45 to an hour
Story Behind the Need:
•Business Unit: Global Finance & Risk Technology team conducts weekly, monthly and quarterly reporting for regulatory initiatives.
•Project: Currently the team is working to implement critical changes to their currenting reporting processes.

Typical Day in Role:
•Using AXIOM Controller to design and develop Regulatory solutions on as part of the critical US regulatory changes for the foreign bank reporting (TICs, FFIEC002, FFIEC 019, FR Y15) and dealers netcap solution
•Write design documents, JIRA board management and technical specifications / Perform code reviews
•Assist with development as needed in Jr. developer capacity
•Working within Agile development methodologies to consistently deliver quality code in a timely manner.
•Supporting testers and business users through code promotions and post-implementation through IST and UAT cycle
Candidate Requirements/Must-Have skills:
1) 8+ Years as a Technical BA or Developer
2) 5+ years experience with AXIOM Controller
3) Experience with Linux and UNIX platforms and Shell scripting
4) Experience with ticket management and prioritization
Nice-To-Have Skills:
•PLSQL, Python/Java knowledge with help
•Familiarity with automation tools such as autosys is a plus
•Prior experience in banking environment
Soft Skills:
•Analytic problem solver with excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to establish and communicate the strategic vision.
•Strong organizational skills with the ability to effectively prioritize multiple initiatives, projects, and work streams simultaneously.
•Teamwork and interpersonal skills are a must
Education/Experience:
•Bachelor's degree in a related field

• Experience with SQL debugging skills
• Must be able to read and navigate around the application logs and code to narrow down the issues
• Excellent problem-solving skills and relentless drive for root cause analysis
• Experience with the US
• Strong verbal and written communication skills essential to properly understanding and resolving needs
• Teamwork and interpersonal skills are a must
