Job description The Industrial Engineer Clerk is responsible for helping to implement designs or processes to use personnel, materials, and machines effectively.
WFI is a drug-free workplace. Essential Job Functions and Duties: - Verify or modify work orders and report variances.
- Purchase Order review.
- Create part numbers.
- Set-up part numbers and manufacturing standards based on estimated and/or previous history.
- Collect data to assist in process improvement activities.
- Perform time and motion studies to set reasonable production rates.
- Evaluate data to recommend or justify changes to the standards.
Education/Experience Required: - Associate Degree preferred.
- High School Diploma or GED required.
- 1-3 years related experience and/or training; or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Proficiency using computers - specifically proficiency with Microsoft Excel.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Good verbal and communication skills.
- Ability to prioritize projects and manage time efficiently.
