Job Title: Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP)

Location: Painesville, OH

Job Type: Full-Time

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Speech Language Pathologist for SY 24-25. This role provides an exciting opportunity to make a meaningful impact on students' lives by working in a diverse educational setting.

The SLP will provide services to approximately:

• 20 Pre K students
• 3-4 High School students
• 2-3 homebound students

Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough assessments and evaluations of students speech and language abilities.
• Develop and implement personalized treatment plans based on individual needs and goals.
• Collaborate with parents, teachers, and other professionals to support the patient's communication development.
• Educate families on strategies to enhance communication skills at home.
• Maintain accurate documentation of patient progress and treatment outcomes.
• Stay current with advancements in the field of speech-language pathology through ongoing professional development.

Requirements

• Masters degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program.
• Must have a valid Ohio Department of Education license in Speech/Language Pathology and/or valid Ohio Board of Speech Pathology and Audiology License
• Experience working in school settings is a plus.
• Proficient in providing patient care with a focus on pediatric populations.
