Job Title: Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP)
Location: Painesville, OH
Job Type: Full-Time
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Speech Language Pathologist for SY 24-25. This role provides an exciting opportunity to make a meaningful impact on students' lives by working in a diverse educational setting.
The SLP will provide services to approximately:
- 20 Pre K students
- 3-4 High School students
- 2-3 homebound students
Responsibilities
- Conduct thorough assessments and evaluations of students speech and language abilities.
- Develop and implement personalized treatment plans based on individual needs and goals.
- Collaborate with parents, teachers, and other professionals to support the patient's communication development.
- Educate families on strategies to enhance communication skills at home.
- Maintain accurate documentation of patient progress and treatment outcomes.
- Stay current with advancements in the field of speech-language pathology through ongoing professional development.
Requirements
- Masters degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program.
- Must have a valid Ohio Department of Education license in Speech/Language Pathology and/or valid Ohio Board of Speech Pathology and Audiology License
- Experience working in school settings is a plus.
- Proficient in providing patient care with a focus on pediatric populations.
