A leading multifamily builder developer is urgently seeking a well-tenured and experienced assistant superintendent for projects that will kick off in February. Team size: Boston office: 20 Projects: Markets served: Large-scale, Luxury Multifamily projects $100M Software: Procore, Building Connected, MS Suite Sells of the business: Their Boston Team is a "small shop" with the resources of a large GC due to their National presence. Construction professionals get the luxury & support needed working with a smaller team of very knowledgeable professionals, while working on large-scale quality projects, the right way, and excellent career development capabilities Description The assistant superintendent will be responsible for: assist all aspects of construction projects, ensuring work is completed on schedule, within budget, and to the highest quality standards. Coordinate and manage subcontractors, suppliers, and on-site teams to maintain efficient workflows and project progress. Monitor project plans, specifications, and timelines, addressing any issues or delays promptly. Enforce strict adherence to safety regulations and company protocols to ensure a safe working environment. Conduct regular site inspections to ensure compliance with plans, quality standards, and local building codes. Communicate effectively with project stakeholders, including clients, architects, and engineers, to align on expectations and resolve any challenges. Prepare daily reports and updates to track progress and maintain accurate project documentation. Profile 4-10 yrs of experience (ideally) Someone who is around 1 project away from a Superintendent position Multifamily Experience Well-tenured Commercial Construction Superintendent experience with a GC or Developer Experience building ground-up/renovation multifamily projects valued at $10M Proficiency in reading, analyzing, and interpreting commercial construction plans, drawings, and specifications Good written and communication skills Familiarity with construction/project management Bachelor's degree in Engineering or Construction Management (preferred) Job Offer The Assistant Superintendent will receive: Very flexible base compensation 15% annual bonus 3 weeks to 401k 5% Travel reimbursement Health benefits & more MPI does not discriminate on the basis of race, color, religion, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity or expression, national origin, age, disability, veteran status, marital status, or based on an individual's status in any group or class protected by applicable federal, state or local law.
