- The Hyper V Administrator is responsible for managing and maintaining the Hyper-V virtualization environment, ensuring optimal performance, security, and availability of virtual machines. This role involves collaborating with IT teams to implement virtualization strategies and troubleshoot issues to support business continuity and operational efficiency.
- Manage and monitor Hyper-V virtualization infrastructure, including virtual machines, hosts, and networks.
- Implement, configure, and maintain Hyper-V clusters for high availability and disaster recovery.
- Troubleshoot virtualization issues and provide technical support to users and teams.
- Develop and execute backup and recovery strategies for virtual environments.
- Ensure security best practices are followed within the Hyper-V environment.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to assess and implement virtualization solutions.
- Document processes, procedures, and configurations for reference and compliance.
- Strong knowledge of Microsoft Hyper-V and virtualization concepts.
- Proficient in Windows Server administration and Active Directory.
- Experience with PowerShell scripting for automation and management.
- Familiarity with networking concepts and storage solutions.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Strong communication and teamwork abilities.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities.

A candidate’s pay within the range will depend on their skills, experience, education, and other factors permitted by law.
