An AV-rated insurance defense firm in the Tampa area is seeking a skilled Property Damage Attorney with 1-3 years of experience in first-party property insurance defense to join our team.

Key Responsibilities:

• Handle first-party property damage cases, including coverage analysis, policy interpretation, and strategic defense planning.
• Draft, review, and analyze legal documents, including pleadings, motions, discovery requests/responses, and reports to insurance carriers.
• Conduct depositions, interviews with experts, and court appearances for hearings, motions, and conferences.
• Utilize Westlaw for in-depth legal research to support case development and strategy.
• Engage with clients and carriers to provide updates and manage expectations throughout the litigation process.

Requirements:

• Active Florida Bar Membership.
• 1-3 years of experience in insurance defense, with a strong preference for first-party property damage cases.
• Demonstrated ability to handle complex cases, manage discovery, and conduct depositions effectively.
• Strong written and oral advocacy skills, with attention to detail and case management.
