About:

We are partnered with a publicly traded cybersecurity company seeking an experienced attorney with SaaS and commercial contract experience. You will be a key member of the legal department, working closely with various teams to review, draft, and negotiate contracts and provide general legal support.

Qualifications:

• Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school and active bar membership
• At least 6 years of relevant legal experience in law firms and/or in-house roles, focusing on SaaS, software, technology, and data licensing agreements
• Extensive experience with SaaS agreements is essential
• Preferred experience in the cybersecurity sector
• Ability to prioritize and manage multiple issues in a dynamic, fast-paced environment
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills; capable of understanding complex topics and identifying key issues quickly
• Highly detail-oriented, organized, efficient, and resourceful with excellent follow-through
• Practical, business-focused approach to problem-solving, providing clear, concise, and commercially sound advice to internal clients within set timelines
• Exceptional communication (both written and verbal) and interpersonal skills

Responsibilities:

• Draft, supervise, and close a wide variety of commercial agreements, including SaaS, licensing, reseller agreements, procurement, confidentiality, and other commercial agreements
• Provide legal guidance privacy and security issues
• Collaborate with various business owners and legal colleagues to develop process improvements, templates, and operational policies
