Onsite Requirements:

  • Active SECRET CLEARANCE
  • Designed and developed ruggedized miniature electro-mechanical systems for use in harsh environments, ensuring reliability and performance under extreme conditions.

Job Description :

To drive the design and development of innovative solutions for customer-driven challenges involving ruggedized miniature electro-mechanical systems, systems for harsh environments (e.g., high-g, high-temperature, high-vibration), robotics, and autonomous systems. This role contributes to developing cutting-edge technologies for missions critical to national interests.

Duties/Responsibilities

  • Execute comprehensive test plans, test cases, and test scripts to validate the performance, functionality, and durability of hardware products.
  • Conduct thorough testing and validation of hardware products to ensure compliance with specifications, requirements, and quality standards.
  • Perform root cause analysis and troubleshooting of hardware defects; implement preventive measures to minimize future occurrences.
  • Contribute to requirements development, propose solutions, and adapt to changing requirements.
  • Perform analytical modeling and finite element analysis of complex electro-mechanical systems.
  • Provide insights and suggest design modifications based on analysis outcomes, applying techniques across various technical disciplines.
  • Identify program/system-level technical risks and develop/execute mitigation strategies.
  • Mentor less experienced engineers, offering thoughtful and constructive feedback.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned.

Skills/Abilities

Education

  • Required: Bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering or a related field.
  • Preferred: Master's degree.

Experience

  • 5-7 years of engineering experience with a bachelor's degree.
  • 3-5 years of engineering experience with a master's degree.

Additional Requirements

  • Ability to obtain a US Secret Clearance (proof of US citizenship required).
