Position Summary:
The Personal Injury Litigation Attorney will assist with a variety of tasks, including discovery, appellate work, and ongoing personal injury cases. This is an exciting opportunity to work with a collaborative team, assist with significant cases, and contribute to a well-respected firm’s success.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist with all phases of discovery, including drafting and responding to interrogatories, requests for production, and depositions.
- Provide support in the preparation of appellate briefs and motions.
- Manage personal injury cases from start to finish, ensuring all aspects of the case are handled effectively.
- Conduct legal research and analyze case law to support case strategies.
- Review, summarize, and organize case files and documents.
- Collaborate with clients, opposing counsel, and internal teams to ensure the timely progression of cases.
- Assist in other litigation-related tasks as needed, including trial preparation and legal writing.
Qualifications:
- JD from an accredited law school.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in personal injury litigation.
- Familiarity with appellate processes and discovery procedures.
- Strong written and oral communication skills.
- Detail-oriented with the ability to manage multiple cases simultaneously.
- Proficient in legal research and case management software.
- Active Texas Bar license required.
