Position Overview:
The Personal Injury Litigation Attorney will be responsible for supporting the firm’s litigation team with discovery, appellate work, and personal injury cases. This position will allow you to contribute to a variety of tasks, assist with case management, and provide valuable legal support during a busy period.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist with discovery processes, including drafting and responding to interrogatories, requests for production, and requests for admissions.
- Provide legal support in preparing and filing appellate briefs.
- Manage and review case files for personal injury cases.
- Work closely with the team to prepare for hearings, motions, and depositions.
- Conduct legal research and analysis to support ongoing cases.
- Communicate effectively with clients, opposing counsel, and experts.
- Help with general case management and administrative tasks as needed.
Qualifications:
- Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.
- At least 2 years of experience in personal injury litigation.
- Strong knowledge of personal injury law, discovery procedures, and appellate practice.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Must be licensed to practice law in Texas.
