The HR Business Partner (HRBP) is a partner to the HR Team and is a strategic leader who collaborates with executives and leaders across the organization to drive business success through people strategies. As a trusted advisor to a global logistics company, the Senior HRBP will leverage deep HR expertise and business acumen to develop and execute HR strategies that align with the company's goals, improve organizational performance, and foster a culture of excellence. This role is integral to achieving business objectives in a fast-paced, global logistics environment.


Key Responsibilities: Supporting HR Team with:


Strategic HR Partnership

  • Partner with leadership to identify and address business challenges, workforce needs, and talent management strategies.
  • Translate business strategies into people priorities and actionable HR plans.
  • Serve as a trusted advisor to leaders, providing counsel on leadership development, organizational design, and succession planning.

Talent Management and Development

  • Develop and support strategies to attract, retain, and develop top talent.
  • Support performance management initiatives to ensure alignment with business goals and drive accountability.
  • Oversee leadership development programs to build a strong pipeline of future leaders.

Employee Relations and Engagement

  • Act as a primary contact for resolving complex employee relations issues, ensuring compliance with global labor laws and company policies.
  • Design and implement initiatives to enhance employee engagement and foster a positive work culture.

Change Management

  • Lead HR initiatives during business transformations, mergers, or other organizational changes.
  • Build change management plans to ensure smooth transitions and minimal disruption to business operations.
  • Serve as a key driver of cultural transformation to align with the company’s strategic vision.

HR Analytics and Reporting

  • Use data-driven insights to inform decision-making and measure the effectiveness of HR programs.
  • Monitor key HR metrics, such as turnover, engagement, and workforce productivity, and present actionable recommendations.

Compliance and Risk Management

  • Ensure HR practices align with local, regional, and global labor laws and regulations.
  • Proactively manage employee risks and mitigate potential HR-related legal exposures.


Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field preferred.
  • 7+ years of progressive HR experience, including a minimum of 3 years in an HRBP or similar strategic role in a global logistics or supply chain organization preferred.
  • Proven expertise in talent management, organizational development, and employee relations in a fast-paced, multi-national environment.
  • Strong knowledge of U.S. labor laws
  • HR certification (e.g., SHRM-SCP, SPHR, GPHR) preferred.
