Job Opportunity: Commercial Real Estate Lending Attorney (Midtown Manhattan)
A prestigious Commercial Real Estate Lending Law Firm located in Midtown Manhattan is currently seeking a highly skilled attorney with 3-8 years of experience in commercial real estate and lender representation. This is a fantastic opportunity to assist in complex and sophisticated transactions for institutional lenders.
Responsibilities:
- Represent institutional lenders in the financing of commercial, residential, and mixed-use properties, overseeing the process from start to finish.
- Draft and negotiate various commercial loan documents, including mezzanine, construction, balance sheet, and bridge loans.
- Conduct thorough reviews of organizational documents for borrowing entities.
- Review and analyze commitment letters, term sheets, fee letters, credit agreements, and other loan-related documents.
- Manage real estate-secured finance transactions, including workouts and restructurings.
- Review title reports and surveys, ensuring proper title clearance.
- Handle lending and debt finance issues related to property acquisitions, leveraged buyouts, recapitalizations, refinancing, and other transactions.
Qualifications:
- Strong background in commercial real estate and commercial lender representation.
- Excellent legal research, writing, analytical, and organizational skills.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment, with effective communication and client interaction skills.
- Proficiency with Microsoft 365.
- Must be admitted to practice in New York.
