Our client, an asset management firm, is seeking an experienced Business Systems Analyst to join their team in Los Angeles, CA!
Responsibilities:
- Provide day to day operational support and maintenance of Workday, including researching issues, unexpected results, or process errors and recommend solutions.
- Document requirements, business workflows, system integrations and ensure all documentation is up to date.
- Manage and support 3rd party integrations (Positive Pay, Concur, FITS, data loads, etc.).
- Participate in the planning and execution of Workday projects, including system upgrades and new module implementations.
- Identify future Workday system enhancements or functionality that may be beneficial to the firm.
- Execute functional system integration testing as needed.
- Work closely with business stakeholders to gather requirements.
- Keep up to date with Workday releases, features, and best practices.
- Perform Workday administrative functions such as setting up and maintaining organization structures, security, business process configurations, tenant configuration, data loads, and reporting.
- Creating, configuring, and maintaining reports and dashboards on Workday.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's Degree, preferably in Computer Science, Business Administration, or related disciplines.
- At least 3 years of experience with Workday Financials, HCM, or other relevant Workday modules (Projects, Prism, Adaptive, etc.).
- Experience configuring Workday based on gathered requirements.
- Experience as Workday Business System Analyst or similar role.
- Proficient in Workday report writing, dashboards, and creating calculated fields with strong knowledge of Workday Security.
- Demonstrating understanding of financial accounting principles.
- Excellent verbal and written communication as well as analytical skills.
- Detailed-oriented, quality-driven, fast-paced, and well organized.
- Excellent problem-solving and organizational skills.
- Ability to work independently as well as in a team environment.
- A self-starter with proactive, hands-on approach and determination to achieve success.
- Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to work well with colleagues, vendors, and partners.
- High professionalism and strong organizational skills; ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
Desired Qualifications:
- Experience in the financial industry, preferably in investment management.
- Workday Pro accreditation.
