LHH is partnering with a client in the Simi Valley area seeking to add a Buyer to their purchasing team. This role will report to a Purchasing Manager.
The ideal candidate is a highly organized, detail-oriented team player who loves to source!. You will collaborate internally with Logistics, Accounting and Project Managers as you select the best suppliers, review quotes, issue purchase orders and build relationships with vendors.
Responsibilities
- Coordinate with teams to obtain material requisitions, verify order details and coordinate storage and delivery of materials.
- Process modifications to terms and conditions of purchase agreements
- Perform commercial analysis on suppliers to develop more efficient processes and cost-effective solutions
Qualifications
- 3+ years of experience in purchasing or supply chain management
- Constuction Industry or Wholesale Building Materials Industry buying is preferred
- Excellent Excel skills
- Demonstrated ability to build and maintain vendor relationships
