Transactional Real Estate Associate Attorney

$90,000 - $110,000 Base Salary DOE

- Applicant must be an attorney admitted to practice law in the State of New York.

- A minimum of 1 year of real estate law experience required (longer preferable).

- Applicant will be working as an associate attorney primarily in the residential real estate department assisting one partner

- Tasks: Conducting due diligence (board minute review, financial review, due diligence questionnaire preparation and review, preparation of due diligence memos); reviewing and negotiating contracts of sale; attending closings.

- Further, applicant will also open files, prepare client intakes, prepare retainers, coordinate due diligence with management companies and handle all administrative aspects of a transaction.

- The ability to multi-ask, be extremely organized, and be responsive via email and phone is a must.
