Logistics Planning Analyst

JOB SUMMARY FOR LOGISTICS PLANNING ANALYST:

• We are seeking a Logistics Planning Analyst to join our leading client's team.
• In office environment, with teams calls with team members in multiple locations
• Pay Range: $19- $25/hour depending on experience and benefits package

RESPONSIBILITIES FOR LOGISTICS PLANNING ANALYST:

• Collaborate with team on efficiency studies and projects
• Work with engineers and carriers to manage TPA requests
• Walk the yard for shuttle efficiency/projects
• Audit outbound shuttle utilization
• Collaboration with outside carriers as well as internal teams
• Individual analysis/audits
• Manage TPA’s
• Oversee NC Inbound shuttle efficiencies
• Invoice grief
• Outbound Shuttle efficiencies/utilization

REQUIRED EXPERIENCE FOR LOGISTICS PLANNING ANALYST:

• 3+ years experience required (any amount higher will be considered)
• High School or GED equivalent (any higher form of education will be considered)
• Ability to prioritize in a fast pace environment
• Handle multiple tasks/projects at one time
• Ability to respond quickly to inquiries
• Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel – Data entry, reviewing documents)
• Transportation background (Desired)
• Experience working with shipping/carriers (Desired)
• Strong communication skills
• Able to handle fast paced environment
• Self sufficient
