Job Summary:
As an Assistant Construction Superintendent , you will play a vital role in managing day-to-day construction site operations and ensuring projects stay on schedule. Your leadership, subcontractor management, cost monitoring, and problem-solving skills will contribute to project success.
Key Responsibilities:
- Ensure strict adherence to company safety rules, regulations, and policies
- Supervise, direct, and coordinate trade workers and subcontractors
- Interpret blueprints, specifications, and job orders to ensure compliance
- Oversee field installation using Shop and Spool Drawings
- Inspect work for quality and conformance with project specifications
- Implement predictive reporting, 5X5 audits, and pre-task plans
- Schedule material and equipment deliveries to align with project timelines
- Attend project meetings and provide detailed daily reports
- Train and mentor teammates to ensure a safe and productive work environment
- Provide recommendations for hiring, transfers, promotions, and disciplinary actions
What We’re Looking For:
- Strong mechanical, administrative, and analytical skills
- Journeyman-level experience in HVAC, plumbing, or construction management
- Supervisory experience in a construction environment
- In-depth knowledge of International Building Codes, HVAC, and plumbing systems
- Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities
- Proficiency with technology , including laptops, tablets, smartphones, Microsoft Teams, Procore, and BIM software
- Ability to read and interpret project documents in English
