Project Engineer

As a Project Engineer, you'll play a crucial role in our projects, collaborating closely with Project Managers to ensure seamless coordination and successful execution. Your responsibilities will span project scheduling, equipment and subcontractor procurement, and document control, among others. This position is for our mechanical division which is responsible for the HVAC, Plumbing, and Piping scopes of work for new construction projects as well as remodel work in buildings such as K-12 schools, hospitals and associated healthcare buildings, high-rise buildings, and other commercial building types. This role is located in our Westmont, IL office.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist in developing project schedules.
  • Support field labor coordination.
  • Procure equipment and materials.
  • Manage subcontractor services.
  • Maintain document control.
  • Coordinate project activities.
  • Assist in budget preparation and cost estimation.


Requirements:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Architectural Engineering, Mechanical Engineering or Construction Management.
  • Proficiency in basic computer skills, including Microsoft Office.
  • Knowledge of HVAC systems and design.


Salary & Benefits:

  • Salary Range: $70,000-$80,000 annually.
  • Final salary determination based on relevant experience and qualifications.
