SUMMARY The National Account Manager- Ingredient and Foodservice will be responsible for developing and growing profitable business within the food service and ingredient segment focusing on the top U.S. food manufacturers. This position will be responsible for leading and executing account sales strategies that meet or exceed sales, gross margin and new product launch expectations for the Food Service market. This is a 100% remote U.S. based opportunity and 60% travel, with air travel and overnight stays.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
- Identify and obtain new business opportunities within the Food Service and Ingredient segment that meet or exceed sales and revenue targets.
- Develop and execute the Food Service and Ingredient sales strategies that result in achieving the Company's fiscal year sales and profit goals.
- Develop and maintain a target account plan for the top U.S. food manufacturers that includes current cheese usage, sales potential and volume growth opportunities, new and customized product development opportunities, key decision makers and current business strategy.
- Introduce Sartori Cheese customizable product capabilities to specific target accounts that lead to the successful launch of new products based on customer and market needs.
- Develop and communicate accurate sales forecasts by customer and product.
- Develop a quarterly action plan for the food manufacturing Food Service and Ingredient segment which includes specific sales and margin targets by account.
- Routinely conduct competitive analysis by monitoring and reporting on products, trends and activities occurring in the market and with the competition.
- Ensure quality and performance specifications meet or exceed customer expectations. Provide a written summary with corrective action recommendations.
- Attends trade shows, industry conferences and customer events to promote Sartori Cheese's product line and product capabilities.
- Works with VP of Food Service and Ingredient sales on the development and execution of sales strategies for new major market initiatives

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE - Bachelor's degree in business or another related field, required.
- 5-7 years of progressive, corporate business to business sales, including experience developing and executing strategic account plans, required.
- Food Service and Ingredient market segment experience
- Demonstrated strategic Business-to-Business (B2B) experience managing and building a large book of business.
- Experience managing process and people preferred.
- Culinary experience is preferred

CERTIFICATES, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS - State of Wisconsin SERV Safe Certification with 60 days of hire.
- Valid driver's license. Must maintain a clean driving record according to Sartori's fleet policy.
