Position: Psychiatrist
Were looking for a compassionate and dedicated psychiatrist who understands that mental health care goes beyond just diagnoses and prescriptions. In this role, you'll collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to provide personalized care, helping patients navigate challenges and achieve lasting mental wellness.
Key Responsibilities:
Clinical Assessment:
Conduct comprehensive psychiatric evaluations to accurately diagnose mental health conditions. Gather detailed patient histories, including medical, family, and social factors, to understand the full scope of their needs.
Treatment Planning:
Design customized treatment plans that address each patient's unique requirements. Prescribe and manage psychiatric medications within an integrative care approach. Recommend and administer therapeutic interventions such as psychotherapy and counseling.
Therapeutic Interventions:
Utilize a variety of therapeutic techniques to assist patients in managing their mental health. Continuously monitor patient progress and adjust treatment plans accordingly. Provide urgent crisis intervention during acute mental health episodes.
Collaboration & Consultation:
Work closely with a diverse healthcare team, including psychologists, social workers, and primary care providers, ensuring coordinated and holistic patient care. Consult with specialists to address broader healthcare needs.
Documentation & Record-Keeping:
Keep accurate, up-to-date patient records, including assessments, treatment plans, and progress notes. Maintain compliance with legal and ethical standards related to confidentiality and documentation.
Education & Advocacy:
Educate patients and their families about mental health conditions, treatment options, and coping mechanisms. Advocate for mental health awareness both within the organization and in the larger community.
Continuous Professional Development:
Stay informed on the latest advancements in psychiatry, treatments, and practices through ongoing education and professional growth. Maintain all required licensure and certifications.
Qualifications:
Medical degree (MD or DO) from an accredited institution.
Completion of a psychiatry residency program.
Board certification in psychiatry with an active state medical license.
Skills & Competencies:
Extensive experience in psychiatric diagnostics and patient assessments.
Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with a strong sense of empathy.
Ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary care team.
Proficiency in electronic health record (EHR) systems.
