It’s always a GOOD day in SoCal!Goodwill Southern California’s Workforce and Career Development Division (WCD) is seeking a skilled consultant to provide Business Systems Consulting and PMO Support . This role focuses on optimizing system workflows, improving project delivery processes, and ensuring alignment with strategic objectives.If you have expertise in business systems, project management, and operational excellence, we invite you to join us on this exciting journey to make a lasting impact on our programs and services. This is a 9 month, fixed-term, hybrid position based at Goodwill Los Angeles headquarters.Key Responsibilities :Evaluate & Improve Systems : Assess current business and reporting systems, workflows, and program lifecycles, providing actionable recommendations.PMO Development : Design and implement a Project Management Office (PMO) framework, including tools, templates, and guidelines.Strategic Integration : Ensure seamless alignment of systems with strategic objectives.Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) : Create and implement SOPs in project management, ensuring clarity and consistency.Training & Support : Conduct training sessions and empower internal teams to adopt new processes effectively.Project Delivery : Ensure projects are completed on time, within scope, and budget while providing weekly progress updates.Assessment Report : Comprehensive analysis of current systems and workflows.Implementation Plan : Roadmap to integrate recommended improvements.PMO Framework : Project management templates, tools, SOPs, and guidelines.Training Materials : Resources and sessions for staff upskilling.Weekly Progress Reports : Updates on project milestones, risks, and mitigations.Education and Experience:15+ years advanced experience in business systems consulting and project management required.Proven expertise in PMO development, process optimization, and SOP creation.Strong stakeholder management, training, and communication skills.Proficiency with collaboration tools (Microsoft Teams), project management software (Basecamp and Waterfall), and Salesforce CRM.Ability to deliver results in a hybrid work environment with minimal delays.
