SmartAC.com is looking for an experienced Product Marketing Manager to create & lead the strategy needed to accelerate our growth. In this cross-functional role, you’ll be a member of the marketing team, but you will collaborate heavily with the product and sales teams to achieve alignment through sales enablement, messaging, content, positioning, and product knowledge.
As the Product Marketing Manager at SmartAC.com, you will oversee market research and
provide market, customer, and competitive insight. The Product Marketing Manager will have a
clear understanding of the changing nature of customer needs and product development to
ensure product strategies align with market demand. Additionally, you will monitor, research and
integrate sales data, trends and results. You will use this knowledge to equip the sales team
with the needed materials to shorten conversion time, and increase the average deal size amount.
You should have strong attention to detail, and have experience creating in-depth competitive analysis, crafting messaging, whitepapers, demo,videos, eBooks and blog content for various audiences.
Key Responsibilities
· Build/maintain key initiatives in product, sales & marketing departments, and influence alignment.
· Be the go-to expert on the market, competition (products and pricing) and buyers, and be able to educate internal stakeholders to help drive informed improvements and decisions.
· Create messaging that place our products in the appropriate market context, while capitalizing on industry trends.
· Develop sales enablement resources (competitive battlecards, reference collateral, playbooks, product training presentations, demo templates, videos, etc.) to position us ahead of competitors, shorten the sales cycle, increase deal sizes and influence conversion rates.
· Work closely with the product team to establish go-to-market plans for each product launch driven by product marketing research, data analysis and collaboration with product and customer marketing teams.
Required skills and qualifications:
? Proven experience in product marketing, SaaS experience preferred
? Analytical – You must be comfortable tracking, analyzing, and interpreting relevant content metrics. You focus on connecting marketing efforts to revenue, and not just vanity metrics.
? Disciplined Execution – You never overlook the details, and work backward from an objective to set and accomplish appropriate results. You hold yourself accountable to established KPIs.
? Technical Experience – Expertise in web analytics software, content management systems, etc
? Excellent Communicator – You have the ability to articulate narratives to both executive leadership and outside teams.
