Job Title: Merchandising Coordinator


Work Location: This is a hybrid role; minimum 2 days/week working on site at our midtown Manhattan office


Workweek schedule:  Monday – Friday, 40 hours per week


What You Will Do:

The Merchandising Coordinator will support the Merchandising team and collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure necessary action is taken to deliver every day and seasonal assortments for a variety of retailers:

 

·        Ensure the showroom is always organized and presentable, and refreshed weekly with new product

·        Create product mock ups by setting up flat art and printing and applying art to product blanks

·        Prepare weekly reports

·        Maintain understanding of the competitive environment by organizing monthly competitive shopping trips including reports of notable findings

·        Create line sheets for Sales presentations and programs

·        Coordinate SKU creation with systems including feedback from Sales team

·        Ensure samples are reviewed and any comments/changes are communicated each season

·        Plan and arrange shipping of samples for trade shows


Who You Are:

  • Detail-oriented, process-oriented, and able to handle multiple tasks at once
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Comfortable with regular in-office presence on a hybrid basis
  • Passionate with an eye for product
  • Knowledge of pop culture


What You Bring:

  • Bachelor's Degree (preferred)
  • 1-2 years of merchandising, retail buying, product development or related experience
  • A background in/knowledge of Graphic Design
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, including Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook
  • Proficiency in Photoshop and Illustrator
  • Experience with consumer brands and licensed products is a plus
  • Ability to travel based on business needs
