Job Title: Surveyor II

Location: Spokane, WA / Coeur d'Alene, ID

Job Description:

We are seeking an experienced Surveyor II to lead field-focused projects and collaborate with professional surveyors to deliver high-quality results. This role involves performing surveys for roadway improvements, boundary work, utility networks, construction layouts, and topographic mapping.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct field surveys, including control networks, topographic surveys, construction staking, level loops, monument recovery, and as-built surveys.
• Plan and execute daily fieldwork while ensuring adherence to project schedules and budgets.
• Utilize field-to-finish capabilities, including Leica equipment and related software (preferred).
• Work independently as a one-person crew or in collaboration with larger teams.
• Assist in boundary determinations, roadway and interchange improvements, and utility network mapping.

Qualifications:

• Experience: 3+ years in field surveying with expertise in control networks, construction staking, and topographic/as-built surveys.
• Technical Skills: Familiarity with Leica equipment and field/office survey software (preferred).
• Additional Skills: UAV/scanning experience is a plus but can be developed on the job.
