Job Description

We are currently seeking a highly motivated Programmer; you will be responsible for operating and programming advanced 5-axis CNC machines to manufacture complex parts with the utmost precision and efficiency. Your expertise in setting up the machines, selecting appropriate tooling, and optimizing machining processes will play a vital role in delivering exceptional products that meet or exceed our customers’ specifications.

Responsibilities:

• CNC Programming: Create and modify CNC programs for 5-axis machines using software based on engineering drawings and models.
• Machine Setup: Set up and prepare 5-axis CNC machines, ensuring proper alignment, tool installation, and workpiece fixation.
• Quality Control: Perform in-process inspections and use precision measuring instruments to verify the quality of machined components.
• Troubleshooting: Identify and troubleshoot machining issues, making necessary adjustments to ensure optimal machine performance and part quality.
• Safety and Maintenance: Adhere to safety protocols and perform routine machine maintenance to ensure equipment remains in peak operating condition.
• Process Optimization: Continuously improve machining processes to enhance productivity, reduce cycle times, and minimize scrap.

Qualifications:

• Minimum of 3 years of experience as a CNC Machinist, specifically working with 5-axis CNC machines.
• Technical Skills: Proficiency in CNC programming and operating 5-axis machines.
• 5-Axis Machining Experience: Specific experience with 5-axis CNC machines is a must.
• Experience in MasterCam and SurfCam software is ideal.
• Proficiency in setting up, programming, and operating 5-axis machines is highly desirable.
• Precision Machining: Demonstrated expertise in machining complex parts with tight tolerance.
• Problem-Solving: Excellent troubleshooting skills to identify and resolve machining issues effectively.
• Attention to Detail: Meticulous approach to qualify control and adherence to precise specifications.
• Communication: Effective verbal and written communication skills to collaborate with team members and provide clear updates on machining projects.
