Position: IT Program Manager
Location: Fort Meade, MD (Hybrid)- Onsite requirements are 2 times per 2 week pay period and if missed a day you must make it up in the same period. You may also get called in last minute, Other than those requirements the position is hybrid but majority remote.

What You Will Do:
- Manage and improve service transition and service operation processes, including Change, Configuration, Event, Incident, and Problem Management.
- Develop ITSM, ITIL and Automation Processes and Procedures.
- Apply ITIL best practices to enhance the reliability and performance of enterprise IT services.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to identify and address service delivery challenges, ensuring seamless integration of new services into operational environments.
- Utilize project management expertise to deliver improvements aligned with DESMF-based processes.
- Maintain documentation for service operations, including process workflows, reports, and training materials.
- Conduct regular reviews of service operations to identify and implement optimization opportunities.
What We Need:
- Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field, or Master’s degree in a similar field.
- 5 to 7 years of relevant professional experience if you have a Bachelor's degree (OR) 3+ years of experience if you hold a Master's degree.
- ITIL Certification.
- PMP certification or DAU Program Management Level 3 certification, or five years of experience with Service Operations and Transition domains
- Extensive experience utilizing Microsoft Project to include setting up new program planning and scheduling utilizing WBS, Task Sequencing, Milestone Definition, Resource Allocation, Timeline Creation as well as all aspects of Resource Management, Budget and Cost Management, Risk Management, Program Monitoring and Reporting. The utilization of Advanced Features such as integration with SharePoint, Power Bi, or Excel for enhanced reporting as well as Collaboration and Communication through shared project files, Team Collaboration and Stakeholder Communication. Change Management and Compliance and Documentation as well.
- A minimum of three years applying DESMF-based processes in enterprise IT environments.
- Expertise in Service Operations and Service Transition domains, including Change, Configuration, Event, Incident, and Problem Management.
- Advanced skills with the Microsoft Power Platform building complex custom applications using Canvas and Model-Driven Apps. Using Power Automate, Power Bi, Power Virtual Agents, Dataverse, Integration and Extensibility as well as AI and Automation capabilities.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to address complex service delivery challenges.
- Strong communication skills with experience coordinating DoD initiatives.

- Experience with ITSM tools such as ServiceNow or Remedy.

- Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP), or equivalent.
