Job Title: Chief Operating Officer- Bilingual in Spanish
Location: Rio Grande Valley, Texas (Daily travel to Mexico required)
Salary: $200,000-$225,000
Job Overview: Seeking a results-driven Chief Operating Officer to lead and optimize multi-site manufacturing and operational functions. This role requires a hands-on leader with strong manufacturing background, operational expertise, and a track record of driving efficiency and profitability. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in managing cross-border operations and a deep understanding of supply chain, compliance, and Lean Manufacturing methodologies.
Core Responsibilities
Operational Excellence
- Ensure flawless execution of projects by aligning resources, processes, and timelines to deliver exceptional results that meet or exceed client expectations.
- Establish robust communication flows that bridge commercial and operational language.
- Guarantee technical and operational readiness of every project, from proposal to launch.
- Maintain profitability and operational cost control according to budget.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives using Lean Manufacturing principles.
Client Success and Trust
- Build and maintain client trust by delivering consistent, reliable outcomes that reduce risks.
- Foster long-term partnerships through exceptional service delivery.
- Ensure customer satisfaction is reflected in measurable outcomes (NPS scores, repeat business).
- Identify new sales opportunities and communicate with the sales team.
Team Leadership and Development
- Lead, support, and assist direct reports while managing multiple locations.

Financial Stewardship

Risk Management and Compliance
- Ensure full adherence to certifications, quality standards, and regulations.
- Proactively identify and address operational, regulatory, and financial risks.
- Maintain compliance with all safety and environmental requirements.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Business Administration, or related field.
- Minimum 10 years in leadership roles within operations or manufacturing.
- Proven track record of managing large teams (>500 employees).
- Fluent bilingual proficiency in English and Spanish (written and spoken).
- Must travel to Mexico daily with Global Entry.
- Experience managing multiple locations and working with twin plant operations.
- Strong understanding of supply chain management, quality control, and compliance.
- Proficiency with ERP systems, advanced Excel, and project management tools.
- Experience with Lean Manufacturing and process improvement methodologies.
- Solid financial acumen including P&L management and budget forecasting.
- Familiarity with regulatory and labor requirements in Mexico.
- Ability to work and travel between the U.S. and Mexico up to 25% of the time.
- Must be willing to relocate to Rio Grande Valley, Texas.
Preferred Qualifications
- Master’s degree in Business Administration (MBA) or Operations Management.
- Manufacturing experience in the Maquiladora industry.
- Previous leadership roles in high-growth companies.
- Experience in nearshore/offshore business environments.
- Knowledge of EOS (Entrepreneurial Operating System).
- Familiarity with automation technologies and analytics platforms.
- Understanding of CRM tools for client management.
