New Opportunity! Logistics Supervisor for growing company based out of Piscataway, NJ Fulltime! Must be bilingual in Mandarin.

We are seeking a disciplined and team-focused Logistics Supervisor fluent in both English and Mandarin to oversee delivery and warehouse operations. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills, attention to detail, and the ability to manage and coordinate a dynamic team while ensuring operational efficiency and compliance with safety standards.

Key Responsibilities:

Supervision and Management:

•Supervise and coach delivery and warehouse personnel, ensuring correct processes are followed.

•Oversee unloading of containers, staging for redistribution, and loading outbound shipments.

•Manage delivery drivers, address delays/problems, and assist with solutions.

•Approve timecards and manage/approve overtime as needed.

•Ensure adherence to company policies and procedures.

•Perform additional duties as assigned by managers.

Operational Efficiency:

•Manage delivery methods, create driver logs, and resolve shipment scanning issues.

•Establish and maintain warehouse schedules to ensure proper staffing.

•Coordinate staffing needs with the staffing agency, determining quantity, hours, and days of work.

•Use metrics and resources to measure workload volume and team performance.

•Collaborate with management to adjust training as required.

Communication and Coordination:

•Participate in weekly staff meetings, offering suggestions for improvement in operations, SOPs, or technology.

•Manage follow-up for warehouse or field incidents and accidents.

•Communicate effectively with team members and management to maintain smooth operations.

Maintenance and Safety:

•Direct daily housekeeping and maintenance of the warehouse.

•Ensure a safe work environment that complies with DOT/OSHA standards.
