Position Overview
We are looking for a Business Analyst to bridge the gap between stakeholders and project teams, ensuring that solutions align with business goals and user needs. This role focuses on the strategic and functional aspects of business analysis rather than deep technical tasks. The ideal candidate excels at gathering requirements, facilitating communication, and translating complex issues into actionable plans.
Key Responsibilities
Requirement Gathering & Documentation
- Engage with stakeholders to understand and document their needs, goals, and pain points.
- Develop clear and concise requirement specifications, user stories, and acceptance criteria.
Process Analysis & Improvement
- Map and evaluate current business processes, identifying bottlenecks and inefficiencies.
- Propose improvements and outline recommendations for optimizing workflows and operations.
Stakeholder Collaboration
- Act as a liaison between business units, project teams, and management to ensure alignment and transparency.
- Facilitate workshops, focus groups, and stakeholder meetings to capture input and feedback.
Project Scope & Planning
- Contribute to project scoping sessions by defining objectives, deliverables, and timelines.
- Support project managers in developing and refining project plans, risk assessments, and resource needs.
Change Management
- Collaborate with organizational change management teams to drive user adoption and acceptance of new processes.
- Develop communication strategies and training materials to ensure smooth transitions.
User Acceptance Testing (UAT)
- Oversee or coordinate UAT to validate that solutions meet business requirements.
- Document test results and work with stakeholders to address any issues or gaps identified.
Reporting & Analysis
- Generate reports, dashboards, or presentations that summarize findings, track progress, and inform strategic decision-making.
- Monitor key metrics and KPIs to evaluate the effectiveness of implemented solutions.
Continuous Improvement & Best Practices
- Stay updated on emerging business analysis methodologies, tools, and industry trends.
- Recommend and implement best practices that enhance the quality and efficiency of analysis efforts.
Qualifications
Education & Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Management, or a related field.
- Previous experience in business analysis, consulting, or project coordination with a heavy focus on stakeholder engagement.
- CBAP Certification is desired
Business Analysis Skills
- Proven ability to gather, clarify, and document complex requirements.
- Familiarity with process improvement tools (e.g., flowcharts, SWOT, stakeholder matrices) is advantageous.
- Experience in creating user stories, business cases, and use case scenarios.
