Overview

Our client is a dynamic and innovative manufacturing facility specializing in producing high-quality products for critical industries. With a strong focus on developing new technology and driving process improvements, they are seeking an experienced Quality Manager to lead and enhance their quality management initiatives.

Role and Responsibilities

• Supervise and manage resources dedicated to Mechanical Property Testing (Hardness & Fatigue Strength) and Dimensional Inspection.
• Oversee the Gage Control & Calibration system, including evaluating and managing externally provided services.
• Collaborate with external suppliers to ensure parts meet purchase agreement specifications and maintain adequate quality systems.
• Participate in cross-functional Design Reviews to assess product designs, inspection methods, and manufacturing capabilities.
• Identify and act on opportunities to reduce internal scrap, rework, and address customer feedback, reporting outcomes and improvements.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in a Quality Leadership role within a manufacturing environment.
• Proficiency with CMM and non-contact vision inspection systems.
• Familiarity with Military Specifications related to Weapon Systems.
• Expertise in maintaining Quality Management System requirements aligned with ISO 9001:2015 standards.
• Skilled in Statistical Analysis of Manufacturing Processes and Gage Repeatability & Reproducibility studies.
• Strong problem-solving abilities.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
