Title: Lab Manager

Compensation: $70-75k base salary

Working Arrangement : In-Office

Position Description

This role is responsible for supporting and maintaining the Quality Assurance System, ensuring that all processes meet high standards and compliance requirements.

Job Duties and Responsibilities:

• Calibrate and maintain equipment (both lab and micrometers), ensuring all calibration records are up to date.

• Verify daily shipping and manufacturing audits conducted by lab technicians.

• Track and manage customer concerns

• Lead the implementation of Root Cause, Corrective, and Preventative Actions (CAPA)

• Develop, update, and implement Standard Operating Procedures

• Manage external laboratory testing processes.

Education, Experience, and Required Skills:

• Associate's degree in Material Science, Metallurgy, or a related field, or 5+ years of relevant experience.

• At least 5 years of experience in steel processing, annealing, and heat treatment processes.

• Familiarity with automotive OEM supplier standards (IATF16949, AIAG, VDA, etc.).

• Versed with ISO9001 compliance / internal audits
