Job Summary:

We are seeking a Process Engineer III to support the qualification and ramp-up of high-speed cable manufacturing process equipment. This role requires hands-on involvement in process control, variability reduction, defect reduction, and Six Sigma (DMAIC) problem-solving. The ideal candidate will collaborate with cross-functional teams to improve manufacturing efficiency and drive continuous improvement.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead process improvements, defect reduction, and Six Sigma initiatives.
• Utilize engineering tools (SPC, DoE, PEX, Six Sigma) to monitor and optimize manufacturing processes.
• Troubleshoot and resolve process issues using data-driven decision-making.
• Develop standard work documentation (SOPs, SOS, Job Aids, Training Docs).
• Conduct experiments to enhance process understanding and technology deployment.
• Present process updates and findings to leadership teams.
• Ensure compliance with safety and quality standards.

Required Qualifications:

• Minimum 5 years of experience in a manufacturing environment.
• Hands-on manufacturing expertise with strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Experience in process control, variability reduction, and throughput improvement.
• Proficiency in data analysis software (JMP, Minitab, Power BI).
• Strong leadership and organizational skills with the ability to work independently.
• Excellent communication skills and ability to work in a diverse team.
• Six Sigma certification preferred.

Work Schedule & Travel:

• Standard 40-hour workweek , with potential for weekends/holidays based on project needs.
• Location: Hickory/Newton, NC.
