What You Will Do

• You will be in charge of monitoring the internal production standards and leading the kaizen activities of the internal flows of his / her production unit
• You will develop the VPS competences through training and coaching
• You will define the VPS strategy in accordance with Plant / Site priorities and ensure deployment of standards
• You will support the Production Manager to manage continuous improvement and detecting abnormalities vs standards and reacting
• You will support workshop pilots, lead workshops and implement improvement proposals
• You will provide continuous support of production to improve its QCDM results through rigorous application of the VPS tools
• You will deploy VPS standards and best practices ?
• You will train team members to VPS tools, standards and methodologies
• You will ensure that VPS rules are taken into account in new projects at the appropriate phase
• You will support the Production Manager to keep a continuous improvement mindset, behavior and policy regardless of the operational situation
• You will help define the VPS strategy and prepare the budget concerning VPS targets & budget
• You will coach team members on application of VPS tools and methodologies
• You will prepare and organize the weekly APU VPS committee led by the Production Manager

Pay Information

• Minimum: $74,400
• Median: $84,000
• Maximum: $105,000

What You Should Have

• You have a Bachelor's Degree in a technical discipline, but experience in lieu of education will be considered
• You have a minimum of 3 years experience in lean manufacturing practices
• You should have automotive industry experience in a high-speed manufacturing environment
• You should have training in Green Belt Six Sigma
